This is a very accessible weather utility that allows you to monitor up to 10 cities World wide. In the United States and Canada you get very detailed information including temperature, dew point, relative humidity, wind speed and more. For the rest of the World the information is not so complete. You may choose the frequency of weather updates. One city must be placed in your System tray, however you have the option of placing more there. The program is very accessible and fairly simple to operate. During the free trial period, you are limited to 2 cities and three updates per Day. It works with all current operating systems.

Socketwatch

This is a very accessible clock setting program for your computer with a major difference. When installed it automatically selects from a large number of Atomic clock sites, the ones which will be most likely to give you a good response. Each time it updates the clock, it queries several of those sites and selects the one that gives the best response to use. It therefore keeps your computer clock precisely synchronized to within a few seconds of the exact time. It uses an Edit box to select the frequency of the clock setting and thus gives great flexibility in setting how often you want it to update. It works with all current operating systems.

An icon in the System Tray shows how much time was added or subtracted as of the last synchronization and provides access to the program settings.
