Key Ringer/Orientation Device

This device was originally designed as a key finder, and works very well for finding lost keys or frequently misplaced items. It even has a flashing red light, very useful to the sighted. This is very handy for finding keys buried in a purse.
The Key Ringer also works well as an orientation device for the blind.
You will receive 2 identical units, one may be placed in a known location, and the other carried with you. When the button on either one is pressed, both units emit a high pitched beeping tone. Pressing the button on the one you're carrying a second time, silences it. Thus allowing you to listen for the other unit.
The tone will continue for about five seconds. Depending on the environment, the sound can be heard from 150 to 300 feet. Logically, wind and traffic conditions will impact the distance you'll be able to hear it. It works very well if you want to locate a specific item or spot, or are concerned about getting disoriented and wanting to locate a specific direction.
This device has been tested by some of our members for this express use, and has received rave reviews.
Your package will include a magnet with adhesive backing which you can affix to one of the units. This allows you to attach one of the units to a metal object. Each unit also has a small loop, and you can run a cord through the loop to hang one of the units if you so desire.
Each unit is approximately one inch by two inches and one half inch thick. Weight is approximately two ounces. Batteries are all ready installed, simply remove a tab to activate.
