Colorino Color Identifier

At Today's session we had a demonstration of the new Colorino color identifier. This unit has the advantage of allowing the existing data to be updated as well as a relatively small color sensing area.

This simpler color identifier offers a lower-priced alternative to APH\'s ColorTest II. It has hundreds of uses, including selecting your own wardrobe; identifying products from the package color; determining if fruit is ripe; distinguish colored folders, forms, or disks.

The Colorino is a small, hand-held unit that is simple to operate using only two buttons. The button nearest to the speaker announces the color of the object placed firmly against the wide end of the unit. The Colorino can detect more than 100 nuances of color. The other button emits an acoustic signal that changes pitch according to the Colorino\'s distance from a light source.

The Colorino uses 2 AAA batteries (included) and comes with a carrying case, cassette, large print, and braille \"quick start\" instructions, and a one-year warranty.
